Our Story

Rooted in Faith,
Serving the Community

Shah Jalal Masjid & Islamic Centre has been at the heart of Muslim life in Rawtenstall for decades, providing a place of worship, learning, and community support for families across the Rossendale Valley.

The masjid is managed by the Bangladesh Welfare Association — a volunteer-led organisation committed to serving the congregation and the wider community with transparency and dedication.

Located on Grange Street in Rawtenstall, our three-floor facility accommodates daily prayers, Jumu'ah, a Madrassa programme for children, and community events throughout the year.
